I photographed this lenga forest in Patagonia, at the feet of Mt Fitz Roy. That day, a snowstorm had turned an ordinary scene into something extraordinary. For a brief moment, autumn and winter coexisted, the warm colours of the leaves were bright and visible under the snowflakes, giving life to this image.
